CHRISTY LYNN

Clothing Store

In 2018, while planning her wedding, Christy Lynn Lee knew she wanted to design pieces for herself and her bridal party. What started as a desire for a few custom dresses turned into a full wardrobe for the traveling bride. This was the first Christy Lynn capsule collection. She launched her first ready-to-wear collection for Spring 2020 and since then her eponymous brand has quickly grown a steady following throughout the U.S, and is now available in over 100 retailers worldwide. Christy’s creative vision embraces her natural talent and disciplined eye for delicate craftsmanship and fine details. She has an artist’s intuition for using timeless hues of color and developing intricate prints, often hand-painted original designs by her sister or from paintings that are restored from the past. With a deep calling to build a community of creatives, Christy believes that collaboration is at the heart of creativity, and strives to love, to dream, and to inspire through her work.

Cuclie Baby

Children's Clothing Store

Several years ago, I entered a phase in my life in which I was receiving more and more baby shower invitations. I noticed that I had a tendency of buying baby clothing made of Pima Cotton.  I have always loved and appreciated fashion, design, and hand craftsmanship. That appreciation extended to these outfits that I was purchasing and became enamored with the softness of Pima cotton. I learned that Pima cotton is only grown in Peru and it is highly prized for its silky feel, lustrous look and overall high quality. My husband is from Lima, Peru, and during one of our trips to Peru, we developed the idea of creating a baby clothing line in which I could create my designs using a high quality fabric and precious hand finished details. In 2014, after several trips to meet and select manufacturers who we felt were a good match to create our vision, Cuclie Baby was born. We started with a Knit line with crochet and hand embroidered details, and have expanded to include batiste, poplin and jersey fabrics, all made of the super soft Pima Cotton. I have loved drawing designs and seeing them come to life with such care and attention to detail. Cuclie Baby is a brand dedicated to preserving traditional aesthetic using the world’s finest natural fibers. We design clothing and accessories that showcase the amazing qualities of Pima cotton complemented with traditional hand-finished details.

Jennifer Ponson

Jewelry Store

Jennifer Ponson is a jewelry designer based in Pensacola, Florida. She draws inspiration from the historic coastal community that is abundant with nature and idyllic scenery. You could say that Pensacola’s emerald green coastline and white quartz sand filled Jennifer’s subconscious spirit with Earth’s never ending beauty. But it wasn’t until later in life that she began looking at semi-precious stones with a sense of awe and admiration. In fact, it was at her daughter’s request to educate herself on the subject of geology for the sake of conversation that she ever took interest. Jennifer’s daughter studied geology in college and simply wanted to be able to talk with her mother about the subject. This request pushed Jennifer over the edge into what she now calls an addiction. Early in Jennifer’s professional career, she worked as an orthodontic assistant, which is where she learned the skill of wire bending – a process that laid the foundation for her artwork today. Her work is the result of a lifetime of looking at the world a little differently, and it’s a reflection of mind that is constantly seeking all that is beautiful.

KJANEART

Artist

I am a former high school art teacher who resides near Lafayette, La.  I spent my childhood in a rural area near New Roads, LA playing outdoors and living in a world where imagination and creativity were encouraged. That environment allowed me to see the world differently than most, and I use those experiences to enhance my artwork today. I have a Bachelor of Art in art education from Louisiana Tech University. After college, I began a family and used my creativity in every aspect of my life while being a mom. I have worked as both a middle school and high school art teacher for over 17 years. My time in the schools allowed me the opportunity to follow my passion for teaching and sharing my enthusiasm for art. In 2020 I committed to working as a full-time artist, showcasing my work at local galleries and attending artisan markets in the south.  I also enjoy encouraging others to step into their God-given talents through hosting my creative retreat. Creating has always felt like play for me and I hope that my work feels as free as I feel during the process.

From the Middle East and North Africa to the remote parts of Europe, every trip yields new collections and fine goods. Thus enforcing the importance of one of a kind items that each hold a story and a meaning.

I take the inspiration from the places I have been and translate it to items that turn the ordinary into the extraordinary

Quiltlee

Quilted Goods

Texas born and bred with a heart that beats to the rhythm of the wide-open prairies and dreams in the vibrant hues of city lights, I’m that cowgirl who strides confidently from the rustic charm of the ranch into the dazzling world of metropolitan fashion.

A teenage version of me grabbed the reins of opportunity at an accounting firm at the tender age of 16, all for the sheer joy of donning stilettos and tailored suits. I’ve always been the first to leap onto the latest fashion bandwagon, collecting a trove of photos that serve as a sartorial time capsule, documenting each fashion era with a mix of fondness – and a dash of cringe.

Then, motherhood beckoned. Under the tutelage of my mama, whose sewing prowess was nothing short of legendary, I embraced the needle and thread. My trio of little darlings became the canvas for my creativity, dressed in bespoke ensembles that mirrored those my mama crafted for me and my sisters. Alas, the swift pace of growing children meant many an outfit remained unfinished, outgrown before they could even grace the playground.

Quilting, with its patient and forgiving nature, became my sanctuary. It allowed me to step away when duty called, only to return on my own terms, finding solace in the rhythmic dance of needle and fabric. It was a practice as comforting and orderly as the figures on a spreadsheet.

Why not meld my twin passions? Each antique quilt I restore is a tapestry of love, dedication, and yes, the occasional expletive, stitched into every square.

I revel in the stories each quilt tells, a wearable mosaic of history and love. Every quilted jacket I design, I pour my heart and soul, hoping it wraps you in the warmth of a thousand hugs, making you feel cherished and unique.

Embroidery Store

Karma……

An unexpected trip to India. A mysterious parcel arrives, unannounced. Bound in hand stitched muslin, it was as if from a different era……

It was a gift of purses from my Indian guide, to thank me for recommending him to other travelers and friends.

I faced an uncomfortable dilemma. The guide could not afford such a generous gift, but neither would he accept payment from me. What to do? For some inexplicable reason, I sold the purses online and sent him the proceeds of the sale Done! …. Or not…. For, a month later, an even larger parcel arrived from India, containing even MORE purses.

“Why didn’t you just keep the money?” I asked, exasperated. He patiently explained, “If you give one person the money, then only one person benefits. But if you use the money to buy purses from all the families that make the purses, then they all benefit, and you receive their blessings and thanks.”

I could use some blessings and thanks, couldn’t we all? | was in….

It all started during COVID. India closed its borders and the tourists disappeared. The handicraft market – traditionally tied to tourism – collapsed overnight. This venerable fifth generation embroidery house was in danger of closing.

I had to do something. If you lose one generation of artisans, you risk losing the entire art form, for there is no one left to teach the next generation….

If the world could not come to India, then India must go to the world.

I created this website for the artisans, so that the whole world would see their amazing work, and to provide them economic diversification and stability.

I am inspired by the amazing talent and creativity of the zardozi artisans of India. I wish to share the beauty and complexity of zardozi embroidery with the world and to preserve this remarkable art form.

It gives me great joy that, because of your support through this website, the embroiderers in the atelier have all returned to their beloved embroidery. And we supported over 100 families with donations of much needed food staples during Covid.

When you purchase an item from our artisans, you receive not only a stunning work of art that makes you feel beautiful and confident, you also receive the blessings and thanks of the artisans, for investing in their talent, for honoring their legacy, for providing their livelihood, and for ensuring the continuity of their craft.

Karma. It is real. I know it. Find out for yourself….

Namaste.

Sunday Supper

Accessories Store

Sunday Supper is a feeling. It’s the essence of a Southern family fish fry, playing dress up, swinging, climbing trees with your siblings, getting fancy and having a cocktail, attempting to ride a unicycle – just because someone brought one to the party, vacation, playing with a new pet, and holding hands. Time stops as presence, connectedness, warmth, and joy fill your soul. We, as in this brand, are Sunday Supper. But also, we all are. Imagine if we carried this feeling around like it was our trusted Louis Speedy handbag.
The world would be so much better for it!

Sunday Supper is the space in which you feel like the most delicious version of yourself…the YOU who is confident enough to wear Nana’s mink to the grocery store and turn heads and make that your new norm. The YOU who would rather have the ends of your quilt be slightly tattered because it’s cozier and more storied. The YOU who is excited to wear new and original spins on classic accessories like The Original Vintage Denim Collar because that inspires you to open your mind and you’re ready for that ride.

KB Designs

Jewelry Store

Since 2018, KB Design HTX has been at the forefront of the permanent jewelry industry, constantly innovating and redefining what permanent jewelry can be. I began welding the Eterna™ bracelet simply because I Ioved the idea of a permanent bracelet and the ease and convenience of not having to fuss with a clasp. I chose the name “Eterna” because it means “forever” in Spanish, which perfectly describes jewelry that forms a lasting part of one’s story, with no beginning and no end and an ease of wear that’s both chic and effortless. I soon added Eterna permanent anklets, rings, bangles and necklaces, and the Eterna Permanent Jewelry™ Collection was born!

I had no idea my Eterna Permanent Jewelry™ would take on a life of its own: mothers, daughters, fathers, sons, sisters, brothers, lovers, friends; those setting goals or those who have achieved them; those who have overcome obstacles – all come to share the experience and leave with a permanent reminder of something meaningful. It’s not just about the jewelry; it’s about the experience, the memories created, and the joy that comes from wearing something that’s uniquely yours.

In a world full of trends, Eterna™ stands out as a testament to personal style and enduring elegance. I don’t just create jewelry, but forge lasting connections and joyous moments, where every piece tells a story and every story is gold.

I look forward to meeting you in person and bringing more sparkle and joy to your journey!
