Inslee Fariss

Calendar Store

When it comes to product design, we feel that visual delight is a function in its own right. Each of our thoughtfully crafted products are meant first and foremost to be visually delightful. Beyond this key ingredient, our offerings from fine art prints to tabletop and correspondence paper are meant to be shared, to spark storytelling and conversation, and to weave themselves into the fabric of tradition. Our partnership was founded in a season of raising little ones, chasing puppies, and of cementing the foundations of family, community and home. The work we create here is defined by the details that cultivate a life lived in beauty. Each product we put forth is one we crave in our own daily rounds as friends, mothers, daughters, sisters.

We’re so happy you’re here. We can’t wait to share our vision with you. Welcome to The Shop!

xx,

Cuclie Baby

Children's Clothing Store

Several years ago, I entered a phase in my life in which I was receiving more and more baby shower invitations. I noticed that I had a tendency of buying baby clothing made of Pima Cotton.  I have always loved and appreciated fashion, design, and hand craftsmanship. That appreciation extended to these outfits that I was purchasing and became enamored with the softness of Pima cotton. I learned that Pima cotton is only grown in Peru and it is highly prized for its silky feel, lustrous look and overall high quality. My husband is from Lima, Peru, and during one of our trips to Peru, we developed the idea of creating a baby clothing line in which I could create my designs using a high quality fabric and precious hand finished details. In 2014, after several trips to meet and select manufacturers who we felt were a good match to create our vision, Cuclie Baby was born. We started with a Knit line with crochet and hand embroidered details, and have expanded to include batiste, poplin and jersey fabrics, all made of the super soft Pima Cotton. I have loved drawing designs and seeing them come to life with such care and attention to detail. Cuclie Baby is a brand dedicated to preserving traditional aesthetic using the world’s finest natural fibers. We design clothing and accessories that showcase the amazing qualities of Pima cotton complemented with traditional hand-finished details.

Gabi Brown Art

Artist

At the heart of my work is the belief that art is a bridge—a way to connect with our innate, God-given creativity and take our hopes, our joys, our sorrow and laments, and present them as an offering for renewal.

Every piece I create, whether it’s an original canvas, a mixed media print, or a hands-on workshop or course, is rooted in this purpose.

Through thoughtful design, intentional materials, and themes of faith and nature, my goal is to provide a space where rest and healing can find a voice. My hope is that my work not only inspires but encourages you to discover the grace and joy that your creativity brings to your journey.

Clothing Store

Here at Amberleaf we know how frustrating it is to buy clothes that fall apart after a few uses or are no longer in style as the next year rolls around. KJANEART

Artist

I am a former high school art teacher who resides near Lafayette, La.  I spent my childhood in a rural area near New Roads, LA playing outdoors and living in a world where imagination and creativity were encouraged. That environment allowed me to see the world differently than most, and I use those experiences to enhance my artwork today. I have a Bachelor of Art in art education from Louisiana Tech University. After college, I began a family and used my creativity in every aspect of my life while being a mom. I have worked as both a middle school and high school art teacher for over 17 years. My time in the schools allowed me the opportunity to follow my passion for teaching and sharing my enthusiasm for art. In 2020 I committed to working as a full-time artist, showcasing my work at local galleries and attending artisan markets in the south.  I also enjoy encouraging others to step into their God-given talents through hosting my creative retreat. Creating has always felt like play for me and I hope that my work feels as free as I feel during the process.

Bug In The Box

Artist

We deeply care to raise awareness about the important insects in our world. Virgin tropical forests are declining at an alarming rate – over half have been cleared in the last 40 years. The cause for saving tropical forests is clear. Support comes from buying “products of the rainforest.” In order for indigenous communities to save the rainforest, they came up with “Butterfly Ranching”. These farms enable the preservation of the Lepidoptera & Insects within their natural habitat. Money raised also helps sustain the community, children’s schooling, medicine and simple living needs. Butterfly ranching enables these communities to have a better means of living that does not require forests clearing and land destruction. By making a purchase with Bug In The Box you are helping preserve the rainforest and support local communities in protecting the environment.

We have a great selection of seldom seen insects and butterflies from all parts of the world. Each of our pieces are labeled with their name, origin and meaning. We strive for our creations to bring a sense of joy and fulfillment to your home.

Mandriana Bandanas

Accessories Store

Mandriana, which means cowgirl in Italian, was inspired by jewelry, textures, and designs I saw on a recent trip to Italy. That, combined with my Texas roots is what birthed this brand. I love fashion, but I also love western and easy to wear pieces. These bandana necklaces are the perfect combination of all of those things. Throw them on with anything! I love them with a button-down for a date night, vintage t-shirt for a country concert, sweats for cozy elevated chill days, or a little dress for a night out with your girlfriends!

They are the ultimate chic, effortless, creative addition to any look! I love wearing a couple at a time stacked – they’re also perfect to layer with your other favorite jewelry. Thank you so much for supporting my small business. Enjoy your handmade, one of a kind piece! Whether you’re from the country or not, you’ll always have a little mandriana in your heart. :)

Jennifer Ponson

Jewelry Store

Jennifer Ponson is a jewelry designer based in Pensacola, Florida. She draws inspiration from the historic coastal community that is abundant with nature and idyllic scenery. You could say that Pensacola’s emerald green coastline and white quartz sand filled Jennifer’s subconscious spirit with Earth’s never ending beauty. But it wasn’t until later in life that she began looking at semi-precious stones with a sense of awe and admiration. In fact, it was at her daughter’s request to educate herself on the subject of geology for the sake of conversation that she ever took interest. Jennifer’s daughter studied geology in college and simply wanted to be able to talk with her mother about the subject. This request pushed Jennifer over the edge into what she now calls an addiction. Early in Jennifer’s professional career, she worked as an orthodontic assistant, which is where she learned the skill of wire bending – a process that laid the foundation for her artwork today. Her work is the result of a lifetime of looking at the world a little differently, and it’s a reflection of mind that is constantly seeking all that is beautiful.
